A key element of dates is building memories, and that means doing atypical things.
Find a beach or large open field and get that kite flying high. It’s best of one of you holds the kite above the ground so the other can run toward the wind (if there is low breeze). If it’s inclement weather and you’re in reasonable health, do it anyway! Bring a towel and dry clothes.
See if you can get an aerial view. When we went on a kite date, I rigged my phone to the kite and hit record. My phone has a really tough case, and we were above sand, mind you. Swaying all over the place, but pretty funny!
Kmart currently has $9 kites, while you can get bigger kites on eBay for about $30 - just plan your date for 2 weeks out.
Aldinga or other beaches are great for kites
if this kite from eBay has a 140cm wingspan, this guy is Kindy-sized
